Sister Projects
The three EU Interreg Baltic Sea Region projects NSB CoRe, Scandria®2Act and TENTacle cooperate in order to develop the EU TEN-T Core Network Corridors intersecting the Baltic Sea Region. All three aim to work on suitable recommendations for the decision making in the transport policy for the entire region.
Sustainable and Multimodal Transport Actions in the Scandinavian-Adriatic Corridor
Main objective of Scandria®2Act is to foster clean, multimodal transport to increase connectivity and competitiveness of corridor regions while minimising negative environmental impact induced by transport. For this purpose, project partners have developed a joint project approach addressing:
- the deployment of clean fuels,
- the deployment of multimodal transport services and
- the establishment of a multilevel governance mechanism, the Scandria®Alliance.

North Sea Baltic Connector of Regions
The Interreg Baltic Sea Region Project "North Sea Baltic Connector of Regions (NSB CoRe)“ promotes a sustainable transport accessibility of the eastern Baltic Sea States (Poland and Baltic States) with Northern Europe. The passenger and cargo traffic is thereby equally considered. The goal is to better connect the eastern Baltic Sea area with its riparian regions and access routes, which often include peripheral and border areas, with the TEN-T core network corridor „North Sea - Baltic.“
